A knife-wielding illegal alien looking for an easy target in Pennsylvania picked the wrong woman when he allegedly tried to kidnap a 23-year-old Amish woman. Instead of becoming his victim, she turned the tables on him with a weapon of her own – a weed whacker.

According to Border Hawk, a 23-year-old Amish woman was trimming weeds outside her Lancaster County home in Pennsylvania on October 14 when 26-year-old Junior Jose Davila-Moran, an illegal alien from Guatemala, allegedly approached her with a knife and handcuffs.

Police say he demanded that she allow him to handcuff her, assuring her everything would be fine if she cooperated. She apparently had other plans.

Instead of surrendering, the woman reportedly screamed, revved her weed whacker and advanced toward her would-be kidnapper.

Suddenly, the man with the knife decided he had somewhere else to be and fled behind a barn.

Authorities arrested Davila-Moran two days later and faces eight criminal charges, including attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment, simple assault, possessing instruments of crime and terroristic threats. ICE has also lodged an immigration detainer against him. The Department of Homeland Security says he entered the United States illegally in 2018.

He faces multiple charges, including attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment and terroristic threats. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also lodged a detainer against him.

The allegations remain pending in court.

The incident proves that a weed whacker can do more than keep an unruly lawn under control. Sometimes it can also help get rid of unwanted visitors.
