Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) took another swing at President Donald Trump Tuesday, forcing a vote on yet another impeachment resolution – this one targeting Trump over his administration’s immigration enforcement.

The House tabled Green’s resolution 232-147, with 47 (mostly Dems) voting present (cowards). But 147 Democrats voted against shelving it, meaning they wanted the impeachment effort to remain alive. Eighteen Democrats joined Republicans in putting it to bed.

For Green, Trump impeachment resolutions have become a congressional tradition. This was his eighth unsuccessful effort to impeach Trump.
