The left spent Sunday complaining about President Donald Trump’s UFC-themed birthday celebration, calling it crude, vulgar, and somehow beneath the dignity of the presidency and the White House.

That’s an interesting standard coming from many of the same people who had no concern or outrage when the Biden White House hosted a Pride event in 2023 that included tight dresses on trans women (men) where they were shaking their booties on camera – and ended with transgender activist Rose Montoya going topless on the South Lawn.

Videos from the Biden event showed Dementia Biden mingling with rainbow attendees who were showcasing themselves dancing, posing, and yes, exposing themselves on White House grounds.

Yet many of the critics of Trump’s event are all of a sudden concerned about “decorum” and “respect for the White House.” Oddly enough, I don’t recall seeing anyone at Trump’s event lifting their shirts and flashing the crowd. What I saw were American flags, patriotic chants, an Eagle flying around, and a president enjoying his birthday with thousands of supporters. Apparently, for some critics, THAT’S the real offense. Trump had a good time. The flags probably didn’t help either.

An octagon stuffed with trained athletes fighting each other under professional rules isn’t democracy’s death rattle. It shows strength, toughness, and American competitiveness. But a White House lawn party where biological males in drag are flashing the cameras for the cameras? That’s the Democrats proudly waving the flag for mental illness and calling it progress.

For decades, the medical and psychological establishment classified transgenderism as a mental disorder. Then, political pressure from the left changed the terminology. What was once called “Gender Identity Disorder” became “Gender Dysphoria” in 2013, with the focus moving from the condition itself to the distress associated with it. As usual, the left finds new words and definitions for things just like killing children via abortion became β€œchoice” and β€œhealth care.”

Getting back to Trump’s birthday event…to the left, having an event with patriotism, competition, American flags, and a UFC crowd is much more alarming than public indecency on the White House lawn. One showcased athletes testing their limits; the other showcased behavior that would get most people escorted out of a public park.

Americans are free to decide which event looked more β€œpresidential.” A UFC celebration may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it didn’t require the administration to issue statements condemning guests’ behavior after the fact. If the new rule is that White House events must meet high standards of decorum, maybe the Democrats shouldn’t be allowed on the property at all in the future.
