Call it the latest episode of “DC Meets YouTube,” starring Nick Shirley and Ilhan Omar. Shirley, a viral content creator turned self-styled fraud buster, is once again swinging at Democrats – this time accusing Minnesota Rep. Omar and allies of shielding alleged fraud tied to government programs. His broader claim? That political motives (and possibly government-fueled income streams) are getting in the way of cleaning up taxpayer-funded messes.

According to a report from the Daily Caller News Foundation, Shirley has called Omar the “Queen of the Fraud,” pointing out that her net worth has ballooned into the millions since getting into Congress and that she’s enabling or hiding the fraud schemes in her state.

Shirley went viral at the end of last year after exposing (alleged) mass fraud in Minnesota. Now he’s targeting California – and the state’s Democrats are pushing back as we reported earlier.

For now, it’s a high-profile clash between Nick Shirley and Ilhan Omar (and the rest of the Democrats) – with big claims, sharp pushback, and plenty of attention. But it begs the question…will the fraud ever end?
