Military support is strong… just maybe not as overwhelming as some would expect While Donald Trump struggles to crack 50% with the general public, he’s doing noticeably better with the people who actually wear the uniform.

A new Rasmussen survey shows 60% of likely military voters approve of Trump’s job performance, with 38% strongly approving. That’s about 15 points higher than his support among all likely voters, where approval has hovered closer to the low 40s.

Not exactly shocking: the military vote has long leaned Republican, and this poll shows 57% would back a GOP congressional candidate today.

But here’s the catch – if this is one of Trump’s strongest crowds, shouldn’t the number be… higher? I guess there are still some Obama and Biden holdouts in the military who want all of the woke stuff back in place.

Sixty percent is solid, sure. But it also means 4 in 10 military voters aren’t on board, even as issues like veterans’ care and national security take center stage during Trump 2.0.
