There’s a war going on—on ICE, on common sense, and frankly on this country.
Renee Nicole Good was shot by an ICE agent last week after she tried to run him over with her car. And as I said last week, it seems pretty obvious that if you try to run over a law enforcement officer with a moving vehicle—or if it even appears that’s your intent—you’re going to get shot.
Yet despite video evidence clearly showing Good’s car striking the officer, common sense has been tossed aside. Instead, we’re watching a coordinated effort to lie, distort, and manufacture a martyr narrative out of thin air.
MORE NEWS: Crazy in Minneapolis
If Renee Nicole Good had been murdered by an illegal alien, there would be no riots in the streets. We wouldn’t know her name. This story wouldn’t be dominating the weekend news cycle. She would be erased.
When I’ve pointed out the immigration status of murderers in the past, I’ve been called a racist, a bigot, a xenophobe—all for wanting this country to be a safer place. But because Renee was shot by an ICE agent—while defying lawful orders and actively harming an officer—it’s now an all-out war against ICE, with common sense nowhere to be found.
Not just common sense, but the truth itself. Listen to Senator Adam Schiff completely misrepresent what actually happened.
This is the same lie Minnesota authorities originally tried to get away with.
Renee Good was not simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. We now know she was part of ICE Watch, a group that actively monitors and interferes with ICE operations. Before the shooting, she was doing exactly that—monitoring and interfering.
A neighbor who witnessed the incident said Good was “blocking traffic, so they couldn’t progress.”
Even Renee’s wife admitted as much. In a statement after her death, she said the pair was out to “help their neighbors,” armed with “whistles.” They were not accidental bystanders. They were exactly where they wanted to be, doing exactly what they intended to do.
Anyone who swallows the Left’s version of this story hook, line, and sinker is being made a fool.
The Left has lied about every single case like this for the last 20 years. It’s a safe bet that the open-borders communists marching in the streets and calling for the murder of law enforcement are not the good guys here.
Women like Renee Good made it their personal mission to undermine and defy authority under some twisted notion of justice. I’ve seen many people point out that Renee was a mother of three. That fact is tragic—but not for the reasons the Left wants you to believe. Not because it makes the ICE officer’s actions more egregious, but because that’s what Renee should have been focused on.
She was the only living parent for at least one of her children. Her mission should have been to provide for them, protect them, and be there for them. Instead, she chose to play vigilante, assuming her actions would carry no consequences.
She comes from a generation of left-wing activists who got high on policing everyone else during the pandemic and on moral grandstanding in the wake of George Floyd’s death. Political vigilantism became their outlet—and it’s never enough. Now many of these same people, often white women, are itching for all-out confrontation with ICE. Here’s another Karen doing exactly that.
What strikes me most in the clips circulating online of Renee and her wife, Rebecca, is their delusion. Their attitudes suggest they thought this was all a joke—something they couldn’t wait to brag about to their liberal friends. They truly believed their actions would have no consequences.
That’s exactly what their movement taught them: that they can impede law enforcement without repercussions.
The ICE Watch group I mentioned earlier has since released more guidance on how to “engage” with ICE. Their tips include letting the “victim”—meaning a criminal illegal alien—into your car, asking nearby businesses for lockable rooms, blocking ICE vehicles, and even asking white witnesses to physically place themselves between ICE agents and criminal illegal aliens.
Are you kidding me? First of all, that’s racist. Second, do not do any of that. What the hell is wrong with these people? Once again: where is the common sense?
The hatred runs deep. A post from pop artist Zara Larsson sums it up nicely—she claims to love criminals, abortions, and socialism, but “effing hates” ICE.
It’s shameful. And it’s stupid.

Now compare that rhetoric with Tom Homan’s plea to the public.
He’s absolutely right. The bloodshed will continue as long as the Left continues its war on law enforcement. That’s reality, whether they like it or not.
And they clearly don’t like it, as shown by CNN’s panel having an allergic reaction to basic facts.
The discourse coming from the Left leaves me feeling exactly the same way, Scott.
But they’re the ones taking crazy pills. Just look at Portland, Oregon—the Crazy Capital.
A CBP officer recently shot and wounded two people in Portland who also tried to run over officers with their car. It was later confirmed those individuals had ties to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. Yet when Portland Police Chief Bob Day acknowledged those ties, he immediately pivoted to crying about injustice against Latinos.
These are not serious people. And frankly, it’s racist to lump all Latinos together with a Venezuelan drug-trafficking gang.
I guarantee there are plenty of Latinos grateful those criminals are off the streets.
What we’re witnessing is an utter lack of common sense paired with deliberate distortion and omission of facts—especially from the media. JD Vance has handled this masterfully over the past week. I’ll leave you with this exchange, where a reporter tried to suggest Renee lost her life simply for being a law-abiding protester.
Bottom line: don’t buy the way the Left is twisting this story—not for a second. They don’t deserve your consideration, because it was their rhetoric that put Renee in that position in the first place.
There is a war on ICE and on common sense. And I know exactly which side I’m on.
