It might be sick season—but there’s nothing I’m more sick of than the whiners, the complainers, the so-called “progressives” who are packing their bags and threatening to flee our great nation because, oh boo-hoo, things are just so “bad” under President Donald J. Trump.
These snowflakes are stomping their feet, tweeting their tantrums, and vowing to abandon the land of the free because Trump dared to make America great again—and keep it that way. Here’s just a sampling.
Well, let me tell you something: if you’re one of those ungrateful people eyeing the exit door, don’t let it hit you on the way out. But before you go, listen up, because it’s time for a reality check on why America remains the shining city on the hill—and why this spoiled attitude is a slap in the face to people who have actually tasted real oppression.
America isn’t just another country. It is the greatest experiment in human liberty the world has ever seen. Under President Trump, the United States reclaimed its sovereignty. The economy roared back to life. The border was finally taken seriously. Strength replaced apology.
Contrast that with the dark days of radical-left governance: inflation running wild, endless foreign entanglements draining blood and treasure, and a culture war turning classrooms into ideological training camps. Trump flipped the script. Jobs came back from China. Regulations strangling small businesses were slashed. Globalist deals that sold out American workers were shredded.
The military was rebuilt. Energy independence became reality—we export oil now instead of begging OPEC. Peace deals replaced forever wars. The Abraham Accords rewrote Middle East diplomacy, and for once, America projected strength instead of confusion. The Constitution mattered again. The Bill of Rights wasn’t treated as an inconvenience. The forgotten men and women of this country finally had a president who fought for them.
This country still offers freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and the opportunity to build something from nothing. That isn’t mythology—it’s reality. It’s why people from every corner of the globe risk everything to get here.
And yet somehow, that’s still not enough for the professional victims. They cry “fascism” and “oppression” because Trump enforces the law or sends an unfiltered tweet. Listen to this.
They threaten to flee to Canada or Europe, as if those socialist playgrounds aren’t buckling under crushing taxes, suffocating regulations, and governments that treat adults like children. These are people who live glued to their iPhones, binge Netflix nightly, and brunch on avocado toast—yet compare life in America to a gulag.
Here’s the truth: you’re not oppressed. You’re offended. And your threats to leave are pure performance. Most of you won’t go anywhere, because deep down you know there’s no place like this one—especially when it’s being defended from radical agendas that would hollow it out.
Now let’s talk about real oppression. Venezuela was once a thriving nation. Then socialism arrived. Nicolás Maduro and his cronies destroyed it—hyperinflation, food shortages, violent gangs, and mass starvation. Millions fled on foot, risking their lives just to escape.

Under President Trump, that story changed. Sanctions were enforced. The opposition was supported. Diplomatic pressure isolated the regime. History will record that Trump helped end Maduro’s stranglehold and gave Venezuelans a chance to rebuild. And they noticed.
There are more videos—crowds chanting Trump’s name, American flags flying alongside Venezuelan ones. Gratitude, not resentment. These people know what stolen elections, crushed economies, and true tyranny look like. And they’re baffled by Americans who take freedom for granted while complaining nonstop.
Venezuelans would trade places with the loudest critics in a heartbeat. And despite the left’s outrage over Maduro’s removal, even Venezuelan journalists have demolished the talking points.
The claim that Trump “invaded” Venezuela to steal oil ignores reality. Russia, China, and Iran were already looting the country. Venezuelans know the difference, and they aren’t confused about who helped them.
Or look at Iran. For decades, the Ayatollahs have ruled with executions, religious tyranny, and brutal repression. In the 1970s, Western leftists cheered the rise of Ruhollah Khomeini because he opposed America—then watched as sharia law enslaved an entire nation.
Today, Iranians are risking their lives in the streets. Women burn hijabs. Students face bullets. They aren’t whining—they’re fighting.
And who do they see as a symbol of resistance? Donald Trump. He scrapped the disastrous nuclear deal, imposed maximum pressure sanctions, and named the regime for what it is. Now Iranians chant “Make Iran Great Again,” smuggle MAGA hats, and beg for American strength to return.
They aren’t upset about tone or tweets. They want freedom. They want the rights Americans casually dismiss. And they see the hypocrisy clearly—especially when celebrities and elites lecture from safety.
The passion doesn’t stop there. Iranian dissidents in America are speaking out, including those who have walked away from the Democratic Party altogether.
They’re right.
This reflexive negativity—the idea that anywhere is better than the United States—isn’t enlightenment. It’s ingratitude born from abundance. It’s entitlement disguised as moral superiority.
America under Trump isn’t perfect, but it remains the best place on Earth because it gives its people the tools to fix what’s broken: free elections, innovation, and a fighting spirit. While Venezuelans thank Trump for liberation and Iranians plead for his support, privileged Americans complain that “democracy is dying” while enjoying more freedom than most of the world can imagine.
If you’re truly miserable, you’re free to leave. That’s the point. Just don’t act surprised when you discover the grass isn’t greener—and don’t come crawling back pretending you didn’t know better. Stay and fight, or admit the outrage was just theater. America is exceptional because of leaders who defend it—and citizens who appreciate it.
