Conservative media heavyweight Mark Levin and former Fox News star Tucker Carlson aren’t exactly exchanging Christmas cards these days. The once-friendly colleagues have split sharply over foreign policy – especially when it comes to Israel.

Mark Levin thinks Tucker has gone soft on America’s allies – especially Israel – at the exact moment he believes Israel needs unwavering support. Levin sees Tucker’s criticism of U.S. aid to Israel as flirting with anti-Israel sentiment and giving ammo to the “blame Israel first” crowd.

Tucker, meanwhile, argues that the U.S. shouldn’t write blank checks to any foreign country and that American interests should come first. He frames it as “non-intervention.” Levin hears it as “you’re abandoning Israel when it matters.” Levin is also not happy about Carlson’s decision to have Nick Fuentes (a far-right activist and white-nationalist figure) on his podcast.

The Daily Mail recently reported on Levin’s Friday episode of “The Mark Levin Show,” which included discussion of text messages between him and Carlson.

Carlson had texted Mark Levin with the equivalent of a “Hey Mark, wanna debate me at Turning Point?” message. He even promised to “keep personal insults to a minimum,” which is hilarious coming from a man whose entire facial expression is a personal insult. Levin responded by saying he’d rather debate a skunk – and then proceeded to read the texts live on air like a divorced dad going through receipts at a custody hearing.

Once Levin got rolling, it was over. He dropped the phrase “Nazi promoter” like he was slamming a courtroom exhibit on the table. He followed it up by calling Tucker a “modern-day David Duke,” which is not exactly subtle.

Tucker fired back with “For the record, I’m strongly anti-Nazi…” – a line you only end up saying out loud when things have already gone very, very sideways and people genuinely think you might not be.

Tucker tried to spin the request into a “marketplace of ideas” moment and told Levin to debate him “like a man.” Meanwhile, Levin called Carlson a “little b******” on air.

This wasn’t a debate invitation – or acceptance. This was a live-broadcast friendship funeral.
