Let’s take a moment to appreciate the cosmic alignment that kept Kamala Harris from snagging the top job in the Oval Office. Because as we watch her flail through her “book tour,” we realize she wouldn’t have just been president. She’d be a walking, talking reality-show train wreck.

According to a New York Post report, Harris is laughably telling the people stupid enough to show up to her book tour that 2024 was the “closest presidential election in the 21st century.”

Right. Apparently she missed the fact that Trump won ALL of the swing states and the popular vote as well. As Miranda Devine points out in her NY Post piece, it was a LANDSLIDE for Trump, reminding everyone that he won counties nationwide by 2,600-525.

The losing presidential candidate also hasn’t ruled out running again. Bring it on, I say! It’ll be like when she ran in the Democratic primary the first time and finished last – only to be given the DEI vice-presidential prize.

Devine talks about the book tour, describing it this way: “Harris’ flaws as a candidate have been on full display in her book tour – the inappropriate laughing like a hyena, the painfully inarticulate word salad, the constantly shifting accents and affects. It’s clear this is a person with no concrete sense of self, a woman who has been gifted big jobs and flubbed every one.”

So yeah, we are counting our blessings. Harris certainly wouldn’t have negotiated any kind of peace deal between Hamas and Israel or got the hostages back – among the many other wins that Trump has had since January.
