Turns out the FBI didn’t need a Tom Clancy-style raid to catch Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk. Nope – dad did it. Robinson’s own father, a former sheriff, and a family friend turned him in. That’s right: family beat the feds to the punch.

Robinson, who allegedly fired the single sniper shot that killed 31-year-old Kirk at Utah Valley University, set off a nationwide manhunt. And for a full day, Democrats pretended to act upset about “political violence” while ignoring the fact that they’ve been pouring gasoline on that fire for nearly a decade – branding Trump and his supporters as Nazis, racists, and every synonym for “evil” they can dust off.

The accused assassin? He lived in a $600,000 home and posed with heavy-duty weapons as a kid. He was currently studying at Dixie Technical College after dropping out of Utah State University and attending Utah Tech University. Another radicalized kid – just like the Butler shooter. That should NOT be ignored. He was the kind of kid that Kirk was trying to reach out to.

The press conference on Friday, September 12, turned out to be less of a fact-finding mission and more like a request for a feel-good love-in led by the Utah governor, Spencer Cox. Instead of getting many hard details, we got warm words and wishful thinking. Sorry, governor, but the radical Left isn’t about to have a group hug and renounce their hatred. They’ve made a cottage industry out of it.

We can keep pushing back, just like Kirk did, but let’s not kid ourselves – there’s little chance the Left will ever drop the venom. Even elderly former President Joe Biden has been at the top of the venom-ers posting things on X in the past like: “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country.”

The motive for Kirk’s killing remains unclear, but Robinson scrawled far-left, Antifa-style slogans onto the bullet casings, including “Hey, fascist!” and “Bella Ciao,” the title of an Italian anti-fascist resistance song from World War II.

The Left, who doesn’t want to get any blowback on their hate and violence against Trump and his supporters are already trying to paint Robinson as a right-winger, saying he’s the son of a retired sheriff, a Mormon (reportedly), raised around guns, wore a Trump Halloween costume and is white.

The Utah governor said that “Words are not violence. Violence is violence” but words are what radicalized the (alleged) killer – and the Left will use the governor’s words to absolve themselves of being responsible for the death of Kirk and they are NOT absolved.

MAGA will not be happy with this press conference.
