Donald Trump just dropped another trade triumph – this time with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – and let’s just say, the art of the deal is alive and roaring like an American- made SUV.

In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, July 2, Trump announced: “It is my Great Honor to announce that I have just made a Trade Deal with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.”

He went on to say, “The Terms are that Vietnam will pay the United States a 20% Tariff on any and all goods sent into our Territory, and a 40% Tariff on any Transshipping. In return, Vietnam will do something that they have never done before, give the United States of America TOTAL ACCESS to their Markets for Trade. In other words, they will ‘OPEN THEIR MARKET TO THE UNITED STATES,’ meaning that, we will be able to sell our product into Vietnam at ZERO Tariff.”

And if you think this is just numbers and charts, think again. Trump already has a product in mind: “It is my opinion that the SUV or, as it is sometimes referred to, Large Engine Vehicle, which does so well in the United States, will be a wonderful addition to the various product lines within Vietnam.”

This wasn’t some backroom deal crafted by lobbyists and career diplomats either. Trump did most of it himself as the closer. Trump posted, “Dealing with General Secretary To Lam, which I did personally, was an absolute pleasure.”

With this latest win, Trump once again proves he doesn’t just talk about putting America First – he delivers, deal after deal. So while the global elites sip imported wine and stroke their trade imbalances, Trump’s busy making sure American products roll off the lot and onto the global stage – with the pedal down.
