President Donald J. Trump is once again doing what he does best: winning. And no, it’s not his campaign rallies or courtroom drama that are drawing eyeballs this time. It’s his approval ratings.

According to a new poll from Rasmussen, it shows that 50% of likely American voters think the country is on the right track under President Trump, the first time in the company’s history that has a majority believing the country is on the right track according to an ABC article (45% disapprove). That sound you hear? That’s the mainstream media choking on their soy lattes.

If half the country thinks we’re on the right track, that means CNN is definitely NOT on the right track. I guess the “Orange Man Bad” and “Democracy is over!” mantra just isn’t working like it used to.

Even Newsweek, not exactly a MAGA fan club, had to admit that Trump’s numbers are at their highest in weeks with 54% approval.

And then there’s this nugget from The Daily Caller News Foundation: Trump’s popularity right now is outpacing where George W. Bush and Barack Obama were during the same point in their second terms.

The poor Democrats are wailing across the country. Yes, I can hear the collective cries of the Democrats, the mainstream media, and the permanently outraged denizens of X. Someone cue the emergency therapy sessions and stock up on Prozac.

So…Trump, without the help of a fawning press or late-night comedy love letters, is polling better than two establishment presidents of the past, one of which had the mainstream media constantly lying about what Mr. “Hope and Change” was doing and what his intentions were.

What makes this polling data on Trump even more satisfying is the fact that the more the media and political class try to torpedo Trump with lawsuits, lies, gag orders, disinformation, misinformation, and malinformation, the higher he seems to rise. He is the phoenix rising.

This is happening because sometimes the media just can’t fight reality no matter how hard they try. Egg prices are lower, gas prices are lower, illegal alien criminals are getting deported, evil leftists are getting looked into, trade deals are being made, corruption is being uncovered… the MAGA train is full steam ahead.

So while the usual suspects in media and politics are hitting DEFCON 1 over Trump’s polling surge, most Americans are asking for more of the same from the president.
