When it comes to defending America, President Donald J. Trump decided not to wait for a permission slip from Democrats who think a strongly worded social media post is a national defense strategy.

To protect both America and Israel, Trump ordered U.S. warplanes to strike Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday, June 20, launching bombs and missiles at key facilities in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.

As expected, the media chorus spent the weekend calling Trump’s strike on Iran a “gamble.” But you know what was the real gamble? Sitting back and letting Iran inch closer to nuclear weapons. Especially when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear that Tehran wasn’t keeping those nukes for display – they were planning to hand them off to their terrorist proxies. So waiting wasn’t just risky – it was reckless.

Enter President Trump. He is unlike the politicians who are willing to negotiate endlessly without results – with a terrorist regime who doesn’t want to actually negotiate in good faith. Instead, he has shown our enemies our power and strength. Trump, an actual ally of Israel, unlike the untrustworthy Democrats and former presidents Biden and Obama, has earned the trust of Netanyahu. So Bibi waited until Trump was in office again for his grand plan to strike at Iran’s nuclear sites. With Trump offering him REAL support, both behind the scenes and out front where it counts, Netanyahu decided that the time to strike was now.

Trump didn’t bother giving a heads-up to the usual Congressional backstabbers before joining in with Israel in the attack against Iran. Instead, he called in his trusted ally, General John Daniel “Raizin’” Caine – the same guy who helped him wipe ISIS off the map in record time back in 2019. Caine, who crushed the caliphate Obama let linger, teamed up with Trump once again for “Operation Midnight Hammer,” in this June mission to deliver pinpoint strikes on Iran that proved to be nothing short of a “spectacular” success.

Caine said in his press conference, “This operation was designed to severely degrade Iran’s nuclear weapons infrastructure. It was planned and executed across multiple domains and theaters with coordination that reflects our ability to project power globally with speed and precision at the time and place of our nation’s choosing. This was a highly classified mission with very few people in Washington knowing the timing or nature of this plan.”

Exactly. THAT IS HOW YOU WIN.

The Democrats, however, who fight Trump on EVERYTHING, are out bitching, not about Iran – but about Trump trying to protect the United States and Israel – from nuclear holocaust.

The Dems, not surprisingly, spent the entire weekend melting down on X, screeching that Trump made an “unconstitutional” move. As usual, these clowns – most of whom haven’t read the Constitution beyond what fits on a protest sign – did some weekend Googling and convinced themselves they’ve uncovered another excuse to attack the president. Never mind Iran – they’re more interested in attacking Trump.

What the Dems are citing after their Google search is called the War Powers Act. But apparently, they didn’t read the whole thing. It says that the president, as Commander in Chief of the military, has the authority to deploy military force in situations without a Congressional permission slip. And he correctly “notified” them within the 48-hour timeline. Additionally, he’s got 60 more days to unleash Hell on Iran before Congress can stop him. Sorry, Dems.

But let’s not pretend Trump invented the idea of launching airstrikes without congressional permission. Obama bombed Libya in 2011 without so much as a formal vote, citing no ground troops being involved and a mission that was limited in scope and time. Obama also used post-9/11 authorizations to justify years of airstrikes in Syria and Iraq.

Biden followed suit with strikes on Iranian-backed militias in 2021 and Yemen’s Houthis in 2024, all without approval. The playbook has been the same: fire missiles now, send a strongly worded memo later.

So when Trump responds to an imminent nuclear threat in addition to years of Iranian proxy attacks – including a 2020 rocket strike that killed a U.S. contractor and a 2024 drone attack that killed three American soldiers – by hitting back, suddenly it’s a constitutional crisis? Please. The only real difference is who is sitting in the Oval Office.

Are the media and Democrat leaders outraged that Iran has been build nukes? No, they are furious that Trump didn’t give them a heads-up on the attack. Apparently, they think the War Powers Act comes with a mandatory group chat. But given their track record of leaking like a toddler with a full diaper, it’s obvious that the non-heads-up by the Prez was intentional. I wouldn’t give them advance notice either.

At the end of the day, Trump did what presidents are supposed to do: protect American lives and interests without waiting for a committee of career leakers and virtue-signalers to hold a feelings circle.

In an interview with Fox News, talk show host Mark Levin called the strikes “One of the greatest secret military acts” and marveled that it had no casualties or crashes. He also condemned the Democrats for attacking president, undermining our military and demoralizing the country. He also called the War Powers Act unconstitutional (which it is), explaining why so many presidents have ignored it.

If Obama and Biden can drop bombs without asking, then Trump sure as hell can – especially when the stakes are nukes in the hands of Iran and their terrorist proxies. The left can whine and cry all they want, but the message to Iran (and every enemy watching) is clear: don’t poke the eagle unless you’re ready to get scorched by the talons. Trump isn’t sending hashtags – he’s sending a wake-up call, with a sonic boom.
