Now that former President Biden’s cognitive decline isn’t just whispered about but getting exposed in Jake Tapper’s new book “Original Sin,” the left is scrambling to rewrite history.
“We had no idea!” they cry, cueing up their best shocked faces for the cameras. Someone call the Academy because these performances of manufactured surprise deserve awards. The truth? The Democrats and their media sidekicks weren’t innocently mistaken or heroically defending a confused old man. They were complicit – knowingly pushing the lie, on purpose, with a straight face.
Spare us the act.

Not only did they foist an incompetent candidate onto the American people, they also propped up an even more incompetent sitting president – someone who should’ve been shown the door ages ago (though let’s be honest, the thought of Kamala as the understudy probably terrified them more than letting Jill keep playing shadow commander-in-chief).
This ISN’T a case of “we didn’t know.” It’s a case of “we knew, but we didn’t care as long as Biden could sign what we put in front of him.” Or they could just autopen whatever they needed to get done.
For years, Americans watched Biden mumble through pressers, wander offstage like a confused great-uncle at Thanksgiving, and whisper sweet nothings into the ether – but now, suddenly, Biden’s incompetence is news??!!
The same people now questioning Biden’s fitness were the ones who told us he was sharp, stable and more coherent than Trump. They scolded, ridiculed, and cancelled us for questioning Biden’s competence. They banned accounts for posting clips, and slapped “misinformation” labels on anyone who dared notice the man had one foot in the Oval Office and the other in a memory care unit.
It wasn’t ignorance. It was complicity.
The White House press pool and Biden’s press secretary KGP? Accessories to the cover-up. Late- night comedians? Court jesters for the regime. And, of course, there was “Doctor” Jill, who happily played along, stuffing her husband into a suit and pushing him out onto the stage like a political Weekend at Bernie’s.
Now the political pundits who are finally admitting to Biden’s incompetence want credit for “breaking ranks” because they finally said out loud what the rest of America has been shouting since 2020 – that the emperor has no brainwaves.
It’s not bravery. It’s damage control.
The left was never worried or concerned that Biden was declining. They were mad that we noticed. And now with the cancer diagnosis, which many doctors say was more than likely known about for years before now, their lying house of cards is collapsing and every rat in the media attic is trying to flee the narrative they helped build. Suddenly, stories are being “revisited,” timelines are being “reevaluated,” and anchors are “rethinking” their previous support.
Bottom line: They got caught. And now they’re rewriting history faster than Biden forgets what year it is.
So no, they don’t get a gold star for finally admitting what the rest of us have known for years. They don’t get to act shocked when their whole operation was based on keeping the rest of us in the dark. They weren’t fooled. They weren’t ignorant. They weren’t lazy in doing their job. They were in on it. And now they are pretending they weren’t.
They weren’t just watching the cover-up – they produced it. They were cast, crew, and scriptwriters – with every one of them playing a role in the con. Now it’s time they pay the price, whether in court, at the polls, in elections or in front of a congressional grilling.
