Democrats used to pretend they cared about the “rule of law.” Now? They’re openly rallying in defense of illegal aliens. And not nice ones either.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) has officially called for a full-blown uprising in the streets to stop Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

One small problem: no one’s showing up to support the criminals Wilson wants to protect. Or at least not enough protesters to make the Democratic Party happy. Turns out, when you base your party’s emotional core on TikTok outrage and participation trophies, it’s tough to find anyone willing to actually get off the couch and protest keeping criminals in the country.

According to Breitbart News, after touring the ICE Krome Detention Center where they hold CRIMINAL illegal aliens before deporting them, Wilson had a press conference where she called on voters to “threaten” Congressional Republicans and asked for an “uprising” in the streets until Trump stops arresting and deporting illegal aliens.

Democrats: loud in the Senate, silent on the sidewalks.

Sure, Senate and House Democrats are throwing their usual hissy fits – shrieking about “authoritarianism” every time Trump enforces a law already sitting in the U.S. Code. But off-camera? Although we are seeing the occasional Trump protests popping up, what is happening is obviously not the kind of uprising that the Democrats want and need.

No doubt Democrats are dreaming of another “Summer of Love” like the George Floyd riots of 2020 – nly this time, they want the chaos to erupt in defense of criminal illegal aliens.

But, alas, maybe their supporters are too busy arguing over pronouns and free college tuition to bother staging a halfway decent tantrum. Or maybe they’re a little bit concerned about the crime going on in their own cities and actually want the president to kick the illegal alien criminals out of the country.

Paid to protest but still too lazy to show up.

Even federal employees, some of whom are apparently being paid (with your tax dollars) to “resist” Trump’s policies from within the government, can’t muster enough energy to bring their themselves out to a protest site en masse.

Instead, they are busy “fighting” Trump in their cubicles. Yes, federal workers are openly bragging about slow-walking deportations and blocking Trump’s immigration agenda from the inside. But hit the streets? Risk a sunburn? Nah. That’s asking way too much. It’s easier to hashtag their way to a revolution while sipping Starbucks on a Zoom call labeled “Urgent Resistance Strategy Meeting.”

Bottom Line: Democrats have officially gone from “Party of the People” to “Party of the Illegal Aliens and the Trump Resistance movement” – but only if they can participate via Zoom and social media hashtags.
