In a move that would make activist mobs proud, a Wisconsin judge is throwing a judicial tantrum – threatening to stop holding court because her buddy, Judge Hannah Dugan, got arrested for allegedly helping an illegal immigrant dodge ICE agents. She even reportedly tried to kick an ICE agent.

Yes, you heard that right. Instead of worrying about little things like enforcing the law or protecting the rights of American citizens who pay their salaries, some judges are more concerned with shielding people who aren’t even supposed to be here.

Judge Monica Isham announced she might just boycott her own courtroom until Dugan’s situation is resolved and she gets some sort of “guidance.” Translation: until someone waves a magic wand and erases all consequences for her law-breaking friend.

Dugan, for those keeping score at home, is accused of tipping off an undocumented immigrant (illegal alien) about an impending ICE pickup, helping him skirt detention. Helping fugitives avoid lawful deportation actions? Just another day at the office for certain judges, it seems. Upholding the law? Meh. Too boring and not woke enough.

And instead of rallying around the idea that maybe, just maybe, a judge should follow the law, Isham and company are acting like Dugan is some sort of folk hero. And what did this illegal alien (allegedly) do? Well, he wasn’t in court for jaywalking or stealing a pack of gum. Mexican national Eduardo Flores-Ruiz had a scheduled criminal court appearance to face three misdemeanor battery charges for (allegedly) beating two people (a man and a woman).

Democrats seem to enjoy supporting these kinds of folks – like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the alleged wife beater and court-described gang member who they refer to as a “Maryland man” who they want to free from the prison in El Salvador.

Of course, the temper tantrum from Isham is not about serving the public or protecting American citizens. It’s about signaling loyalty to a political agenda where feelings matter more than laws, and American citizens come dead last, dead sometimes being the operative word.

Victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens? Sorry, you’re not fashionable enough to get a boycott.

Meanwhile, courtrooms across the country are clogged, crime is up, and actual victims (American citizens) wait for justice – sometimes for years. But some of that justice might be delayed even longer by judges who seem more interested in virtue-signaling than verdicts.

At this point, it’s fair to ask: Are these judges still public servants, or are they just part-time protestors with lifetime pensions?
