If you thought the Democratic Party had a leader, think again. Even loyal party soldier, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (and Kamala’s losing VP candidate), was left sputtering when asked a simple question: Who’s in charge of the Democratic Party? Spoiler alert – nobody knows. He said in an interview with CNN, “I think the voting public, right now, is what I would say.”
While that is certainly SUPPOSED to be the case if you’ve read the Declaration of Independence, there has never been a time when the Democrats wanted (or allowed) the “people” to be in charge of anything.
Consent of the governed? Not in their playbook.
Just because the Declaration of Independence says “to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed” it doesn’t mean the Left agrees with it – or will ever implement the concept.
The Democratic Party doesn’t exist to serve the will of the American people – it exists to cling to power and rake in government money through endless grifting. And now, more than ever, that reality is crystal clear.
To keep their grip, they manipulate voters into believing they want radical policies – unrestricted abortion, open borders, and extreme gender ideologies – when in reality, these are just tools to maintain control. Dems aren’t about making America great or protecting individual freedoms; they’re an opposition party for the sake of being one. Over time, their progressive and viral TikTok-ing leaders have only pushed the party further left, ensuring that common sense and true representation are left in the dust.
Is Obama’s fifth term coming to an end?
From the moment Barack Obama took office in 2008, it became clear what the Democratic Party’s endgame is: socialism. Even after leaving office, Obama’s influence never waned. His bureaucratic loyalists worked to sabotage Trump’s presidency, dragging out lawsuits and keeping the grift machine running. And when Biden stepped in, it was obvious who was really calling the shots – Obama and his gang again. And now we have proof of that from a Breitbart News report that a majority of the documents signed while Biden was in office were done with an autopen.
For years, Obama has been the puppet master behind the curtain, steering the Deep State to execute his vision: America last. Sky-high taxes, suffocating regulations, government overreach, green energy scams, open borders, anti-business policies, and the slow death of free speech.

But now, after controlling the country since 2008, Trump is back with a clear mandate, a strong Cabinet, and DOGE – so Obama’s reign might finally be over. With the exposure of the Democrats’ grift, bureaucrats getting the boot, and the potential unraveling of the contracts that kept their machine running, and Obama’s marriage distraction (if he IS in fact getting a divorce), Obama needs
to move on to other endeavors. He certainly should. We didn’t elect him or any of his leftist friends in 2024 to run the country. Even their corrupt fundraising organization ActBlue is on shaky ground, and Soros-funded progressivism isn’t looking too sturdy either, as many of the grants fueling his network seem to be running dry – signaling a possible end of the gravy train.
Kamala’s presidential loss also showed that there is an end to Obama’s influence. He couldn’t push Kamala over the finish line against Trump. Yes, his “charm” has lost its appeal.
Leaderless and lost.
Who will step up as the next Democratic leader? Will a new mystery figure emerge from the shadows (cue the ominous music) like Obama did, or will someone desperate for the spotlight grab the mic and make their move after a TikTok video goes viral? Honestly, the current bench is uninspiring. Governor Newsom? Whitmer? The aging politicians in Congress? None of them generate much enthusiasm.
Right now, the only thing holding the party together is opposition to Trump – not actual leadership, not real ideas. So, their strategy seems to be handing the reins to whoever shouts “resistance” the loudest. But that’s a losing formula, one that will likely lead to more electoral disasters.
Enter NY Gov. Kathy Hochul, who, according to the Daily Mail, is angling for the role. In a recent interview with NPR, she declared herself the leader of the anti-Trump resistance.
But let’s be real – Kathy Hochul as the Democrats’ new standard-bearer? That’s like handing the Titanic’s wheel to the person rearranging the deck chairs. The party is leaderless, rudderless, and completely unmoored from reality. Their only play is screeching about Trump while hoping no one notices that Trump is making America great again by fixing their disastrous policies.
