So the first “economic blackout” that the Left tried back on Friday, February 28th was about as effective as a coupon for 5% off a yacht. Sales at Amazon actually INCREASED during their boycott – most likely the result of Trump supporters ordering more things during that time.

The boycott was organized by The People’s Union USA who looks like they exist just to boycott companies. Their website says they are a “grassroots movement dedicated to economic resistance, government accountability, and corporate reform.”

Their February 29th boycott targeted major retailers and brands. Why? Because the left is a bunch of whiney pouters. The goal was to send a message by withholding consumer spending from companies perceived as supporting policies or actions that the group opposes. But they failed.

They don’t think they failed though. According to TIME, they think little tantrum was successful. USA founder 57-year-old John Schwarz, a father, drummer and meditation teacher, apparently thinks a “success” is receiving emails about people participating in his blackout – and getting a lot of attention and coverage from the left wing media – not the reality of having any effect on the economy (which they didn’t).

The whole thing (surprise, surprise) actually looks like a grift considering that they had a GoFundMe page that raised $125,451 for what they call “legal fees, organization development, web development, outreach, marketing, event organization and more.” Oddly enough, their expenses on their own webpage are listed as only a little over $14,000. Way to go, Schwarz!! Keep that gravy train coming. It’s what Democrats do best.

Right now, if you didn’t already know, you are in the middle of another boycott – this one specifically targeting Amazon from March 7th through the 14th. There will be more to come after that.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

Other upcoming boycotts are reported to be coming up against Nestlé (water exploitation, child labor and corporate greed), Walmart (price-gouging, worker-exploitation), McDonald’s and General Mills. Looks these leftists don’t like cold fries or soggy cereal.
