Confirmation bias was on full display on Capitol Hill again on Wednesday—as it will be again shortly. But despite the noise, the administration’s nominees continue to move forward.

It was Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on center stage yesterday, and today it’s Kash Patel—and, predictably, Democrats have nothing positive to say about either of them. Not one word.

So, let me start by saying thank you, President Trump.

Thank you for signing the Laken Riley Act into law on Wednesday. Thank you for honoring her memory and acknowledging her family—not just with words, but with action. And actions matter.

Had President Trump not won the election, Democrats would have refused to act. Had the election gone the other way, the injustice done to Laken Riley would have been ignored—or worse, denied. But because we refused to squander our sovereignty, because we refused to surrender our birthright, we acted. We voted. We gave President Trump a landslide. Thanks to our votes—more than 77.5 million strong—President Trump has had the busiest and most productive week of any president in American history.

Too bad Senate Democrats are too clueless to realize that elections have consequences. Too bad they would rather attack the namesake of one of the most famous Democrat dynasties than support a former Democrat like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

By completing the poll, you agree to receive emails from SteveGruber.com, occasional offers from our partners and that you've read and agree to our privacy policy and legal statement.

But RFK Jr. has President Trump’s support—and that’s what matters most. The attacks reveal how desperate—and petty—the Democrat Party has become. They also prove just how irrelevant the party is today.

Meanwhile, President Trump keeps winning. He continues to put America First, signing some 300 executive orders and actions, tackling everything from promoting AI to abolishing DEI. He is restoring law and order to our justice system and bringing common sense back to foreign aid and higher education.

Start with President Trump’s tribute to Laken Riley. By saying her name and writing it into the books of law, President Trump recognizes the importance of her short life. By protecting innocent women, President Trump delivers justice—and for that, he deserves our thanks.

America is becoming safer under President Trump. The Laken Riley Act expands the scope of those who can be arrested, detained, and deported by federal immigration officers, making it easier to get illegals off our streets and make our communities safer.

The Act further proves that President Trump is a man of his word, delivering on the promises he made throughout his campaign.

As White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made clear, President Trump intends to enforce the law. Unlike the previous administration, this administration believes in securing the border. The Trump administration is preventing illegal crossings and prioritizing the deportation of violent criminals—but others will follow.

Make no mistake, the Trump administration will deport illegals. This much is clear, based on both words and actions. The border will no longer be a welcome mat for gang members, drug dealers, terrorists, and human traffickers.

The Trump administration is also cutting off funding that enables violent criminals and terrorist organizations like Hamas. Case in point: ending the absurd shipment of $50 million in prophylactics—yes, condoms—to Hamas.

Here is President Trump on ending this insanity, cutting fraud and abuse from federal spending, and withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization—a decision that confirms his commitment to making America healthy again.

The appointment of RFK Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services is yet another example that President Trump’s word means something—which is more than can be said for partisan Democrats like Caroline Kennedy.

And yet, Ms. Kennedy would rather attack RFK Jr. than allow him to serve. She would rather defame her cousin, calling him a “predator,” than acknowledge his qualifications. Just listen to famed attorney Alan Dershowitz on Ms. Kennedy’s deep-seated hatred of President Trump.

In so many words, Ms. Kennedy is suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Ditto for Bernie Sanders, who spent yesterday’s confirmation hearing attacking RFK Jr. instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue.

As the clip shows, Sanders would rather complain than converse. He would rather talk over RFK Jr. than discuss America’s pressing health issues.

No wonder Sanders remains an icon to the left, where ideological purity is a virtue and independent thought a sin. No wonder he is in the Senate—where Democrats are in the minority—instead of the White House. No wonder he seems oblivious to the fact that his schtick no longer plays to tens of millions of Americans.

Democrats are both humorless and merciless, unable to laugh at themselves and unwilling to forgive those who disagree with them. They have become the new Puritans of American politics—a party of demagogues and scolds who demand absolute loyalty but provide nothing in return. They are vicious, turning on their own, unable to accept that disagreement is essential to democracy.

Meanwhile, President Trump keeps winning. He keeps advancing his agenda for America. He keeps securing our nation. He keeps fulfilling his promise to Make America Great Again.

Everything else—the noise, the threats, the attacks, the lies, the exaggerations—is just more Democrat bluster.

President Trump rises above the garbage. And for that, I am grateful.

I look forward to more wins, both at home and abroad. And maybe, just maybe, one day the Democrat Party will return to being serious and respectable.

But I won’t hold my breath.

Until then, we will continue to secure our country and safeguard our democracy. Because that’s what American citizens do.
