Looks like President Biden’s fire sale of the southern border wall scraps just got a legal brick wall of its own. A federal judge has slammed the brakes on the administration’s attempt to offload unused border wall materials – just in time for President Trump’s triumphant return to the White House.
In what some might call an act of pure desperation to mess with Trump (or just another Friday at the Biden White House), the administration had been quietly auctioning off unused border wall segments. It was like they were hoping nobody would notice while they liquidated Trump’s most iconic policy achievement.
But don’t worry, Biden’s plan to erase the southern border one eBay sale at a time is officially illegal now, thanks to a Texas-led lawsuit. Attorney General Ken Paxton and company swooped in to preserve the border wall materials for their rightful purpose – securing the border, not filling up Washington’s Craigslist.
The judge’s decision is not just a victory for border security but also a major loss for the Biden administration’s vindictive shenanigans they’ve been up to lately after losing the presidential election.
The auctioning was a clear attempt to sabotage Trump’s border plans before he takes office again as the Dems tried to make sure there wouldn’t be any border wall pieces left to build with on day one of Trump’s second term.
With this legal victory, the stage is set for President Trump to pick up where he left off – rebuilding the border wall and America’s security.
