Former President Donald Trump made a fiery declaration, surrounded by members of law enforcement, during a campaign stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan yesterday, denouncing President Joe Biden’s immigration policies as the root cause of what he termed a “bloodbath” coming from the border.

Trump told his audience, “It’s a border bloodbath, and it’s destroying our country and it’s a very bad thing happening. It’s going to end on the day that I take office.”

Biden’s border policies are a threat across the country.

Trump continued to say, “We will stop the plunder, rape, slaughter and destruction of our American suburbs, cities and towns…We will end deadly sanctuary cities immediately. I will shift massive portions of federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement. And we will impose a Naval blockade on the cartels, and we will hit the cartels very hard.”

Trump explained the consequences of these policies by highlighting specific instances, such as the tragic death of Ruby Garcia, at the hands of a deported illegal alien named Brandon Ortiz-Vite.

Trump speaks about the murder of Grand Rapids’ Ruby Garcia.

Trump said, “We threw him (Ortiz-Vite) out of the country, and crooked Joe Biden took him back in and let him stay in – and he viciously killed Ruby, the illegal alien charged with Ruby’s really heinous killing. This is somebody that had many, many arrests, including for some very bad crimes that he committed that he was set loose to roam our streets.”

During Trump’s press conference, he explained that Biden’s approach to immigration has transformed every state and town into a border zone, inflicting chaos and violence upon American communities.

Trump accused Biden of allowing dangerous individuals, including criminals, drug dealers, and even terrorists, to freely enter the United States, citing instances of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens as evidence of the administration’s failure to secure the border.

Employing vivid imagery, Trump painted a bleak picture of the situation, describing the influx of illegal aliens as a threat to national security and public safety.

Trump criticized Biden’s leniency toward immigrants, particularly those of military age, insinuating a deliberate effort by foreign governments to exploit America’s immigration system for their own agendas.

Trump promises to implement tough immigration policies when elected again.

Trump’s remarks echoed sentiments he has expressed previously, reiterating his pledge to implement stringent immigration policies if reelected including a promise to initiate the largest deportation operation in U.S. history to address Biden’s open border mess.

Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, immigration has emerged as one of the top concerns among Americans, with many expressing dissatisfaction with Biden’s handling of the issue.
