Well, well, well, NBC News, aren’t you just the epitome of diversity? Oh, wait, scratch that. Turns out you’re about as diverse as a vanilla milkshake in a snowstorm.
When McDaniel got booted from her top spot at the RNC (okay, she “resigned), she put her fishing line into the waters of NBC like many RINOs, sellouts and opportunists have done in the past. And NBC was originally pretty excited to offer her a contract – because surely she would give them some inside stories about how horrible Trump is and other juicy stuff.
Ronna would have been a great anti-Republican asset if she was allowed to stay.
And it looks like Ronna was on board with the whole thing, saying during an appearance on the network, “When you’re the RNC chair, you kind of take one for the whole team. Now, I get to be a little bit more myself.”
But all it took was that one small interview on MSNBC on “Meet the Press” with host Kristen Welker, to send the leftists on the network including former Meet the Press moderator and current NBC News political analyst Chuck Todd off the deep end. It was as if he was singing the NSYNC lyrics, “I know that I can’t take no more, It ain’t no lie, I want to see you out that door, baby bye bye bye…”
A chorus of dissenters.
Many others joined the sing-a-long with Todd including MSNBC “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski – and Rachel Maddow.
Maddow said, “The fact that Ms. McDaniel is on the payroll at NBC News, to me that is inexplicable” and compared hiring Ronna to hiring a mobster in a DA’s office.
Piling on to a woman in power, Brzezinski called Ronna an “anti-Democracy election denier.” Joy Reid said Ronna “backed an illegal scheme to steal an election in the state of Michigan.”
Yes, it looks like diversity of thought with the Democrat media is about as welcome at NBC as a skunk at a garden party.
Heavy praise of Ronna in the beginning by the execs.
Initially, in a memo sent by executive Carrie Budoff Brown, Ronna was praised as an illuminating voice in an “important moment.” Brown had said, “As chair of the Republican National Committee, she spent nearly eight years at the highest levels of American politics … (S)he will support our leading coverage by providing an insider’s perspective on national politics and on the future of the Republican Party – which she led through some of the most turbulent and challenging moments in political history.”
Ronna was set to be a political analysist, contributing to both MSNBC and NBC News. But no more. The public on-air voices of the network weren’t having it.
On-air voices whine until Ronna is gone.
Yes, after all the complaining and whining and moaning and grumbling about Ronna’s employment with the left-wing news outlet, NBCUniversal News Group Chair Cesar Conde, in a move that surprised absolutely no one, decided to kick McDaniel to the curb.
The top bosses cave and get rid of Ronna.
Apparently, having someone with a different perspective might shatter the carefully constructed echo chamber and anti-Trump agenda. So Conde acquiesced and said, “There is no doubt that the last several days have been difficult for the News Group. After listening to the legitimate concerns of many of you, I have decided that Ronna McDaniel will not be an NBC News contributor.”
And even though McDaniel’s brief stint on NBC lasted less time than it takes to microwave popcorn, it might cost the network a pretty penny. We’re talking about approximately $30,000 per minute. That’s enough to make even the most seasoned executives choke on their caviar.
Ronna could cash in.
Yes, Ronna reportedly had a $300K per year contract for two years that she’s looking to collect on with her lawyers on speed dial.
But hey, don’t forget that NBC wants you to believe they’re all about diversity. Maybe not diversity of thought, but instead, their own version of diversity.
Conde had said Ronna was hired because they are committed to “presenting our audiences with a widely diverse set of viewpoints and experiences.”
Yeah, right. So much for that.

Diversity to the leftists is a great thing as long as it pertains to people who agree with them. If your viewpoints don’t align with their own, they’ll drop you like a hot potato.
