The youth of the country seem to be getting dissatisfied with President Biden. I can’t imagine why.
Could it be because he’s older than dirt?
Or maybe because they can’t afford anything under Bidenomics.
Or maybe Biden’s not paying off their student loans fast enough.
Or maybe it’s because they’re a bunch of anti-Semites and don’t approve of Biden’s support of Israel.
Or maybe they are afraid they may get drafted to fight a war in Ukraine or Israel.
It could be any of a number of things – and former President Trump is gaining ground with young voters with a 2-point lead ahead of President Biden among voters aged 18 to 29-year-old. And Trump is leading the semi-young folks who are 30 to 39-year old by 11 points. This is according to an Emerson College survey.
The youth numbers of the 18 to 29-year-olds who prefer Trump should really freak out the Democrats after all they’ve done for their young voters over the years trying to win favor with them – doing things like making sure they can smoke their cannabis and paying off college debt.
But Trump should be concerned with the polling too since 12-percent of the young voters don’t know who they would support in a Trump v Biden rematch. Maybe neither.
