If you are a pro-criminal Democrat and your community has suddenly realized that there are crime problems everywhere, what can you do?
Well, you certainly can’t reverse course or let the community think it’s YOUR fault that they are being robbed, raped and murdered.
Instead, Just the News is reporting that a lawmaker in DC is offering tips to the residents and visitors in Washington, DC on how to respond to criminal acts and how to “minimize the risk of being victimized by violence like carjackings.”
House Administration Committee Chairman, Bryan Steil (R-WI) has had to resort to giving these tips because the Democrats in charge of the city won’t prioritize the arrests and prosecution of criminals. With homicides up 28% already for the year and robberies up 67%, DC doesn’t look like a great place to live or visit.
Even the Mexican consulate in DC has warned their citizens about visiting. They have said, “The city of Washington, D.C. is experiencing a significant increase in crime in areas previously considered safe. Take precautions. In an emergency, call 911.”
Some of the recommendations given to ward off the criminals include not wearing jewelry on public transportation and not leaving visible valuables in parked cars.
Also suggested is paying attention to your surroundings and not burying your head in your cell phone. With crime up 39% in DC, 190 homicides and 702 carjackings in 2023, maybe people should think about living or visiting somewhere else. Or you can heed another tip: Leave space between parked cars in case you have to flee in a hurry.
The biggest, most important, most advantageous, meaningful tip of all that will save you from being a victim of crime wasn’t in any of the recommendations.
