For anyone who thinks we are still living in representative republic, we are not. We are in a BANANA republic.
The San Diego Union-Tribune asked in July of 2022, “What happens if corrupt politicians and powerful judges permanently change America into a banana republic or a police state?”
Yes, what indeed. We are staring in the face of that banana republic today.
While there is always hope and you should always be optimistic about turning things around, the first step in any recovery process is admitting that there is a problem.
We are censored; we are taxed beyond reason (a lot of us at a rate over 50% combined); our constitutional rights are taken away on a consistent bases; we are subjected to purposeful, Democrat- made crime; every product in our house is regulated; every product outside of our house is regulated; there is no longer an equal justice system, governmental departments are weaponized against political enemies… I could go on for days, but if you are reading this on the Steve Gruber website, you undoubtedly know what I’m talking about. You live in reality like I do.
And the reality is that we are NOT represented by either party. Most of our elected officials could care less about the constitution, our bill of rights or making America great. They are in it for themselves – for money and power. They are not just poor stewards of America, they are, in most cases, as much of an enemy to us as China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are.
The current Biden-Harris administration (Obama administration) has every federal governmental department operating as an arm of the Democrat party – with only two priorities in mind:
- DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)
- Climate change
Climate change is their religion, their holy grail for ultimate power. It has allowed them all kinds of regulations and rules, laws and edicts, and ways to steal our tax money and give it to their political friends.
But why stop there? The COVID-19 pandemic showed that the federal, state and local governments can have complete power over us. They turned into communist regimes in a blink of an eye. So if they can do it because of a virus, why not do it because of a fake climate crisis?
I think talk show host Glenn Beck was one of the first to sound the alarm on this. He could see the writing on the wall: that the climate change “crisis” could be another excuse for the Democrats to seize absolute power over us, the constitution be damned. While the idea might sound a little far- fetched, after watching the Democrats in action for the past 10 years, the idea is no longer only being discussed by people wearing tin foil hats.
Just the News reports that because of “increasing demands to declare a climate emergency,” the top U.S. oil and gas industry folks are warning that the climate “emergency” could actually happen.
U.S. Oil and Gas Association President Tim Stewart talked with Just the News about the Biden administration and said, “They’re leaning to that direction. If you grant the president’s emergency powers to declare a climate emergency, it’s just like COVID.”
Stewart said a climate emergency declaration would give the president “vast and unchecked authority to shut down everything from communications to infrastructure.”
Yep. That’s EXACTLY who the Democrats are and it’s EXACTLY who they want to be in the future. Communists who control everyone and everything.
