The phrase “go woke, go broke” has shown to be relevant recently with the boycotting of Bud Light and other companies who have decided to try to force their leftist ideology on their customers.

Folks like Ben and Jerry’s are being boycotted over their hypocritical and insane positions on social issues.

More recently, law-abiding folks with common sense were in an uproar over the firing of a sixty-eight- year-old woman who worked at Lowes for 13 years but was axed from her job after trying to stop thieves from stealing merchandise from the store she worked at in Georgia. She had also said that she was punched twice in the face by one of the male suspects.

Many on the Twitter/X site said “good-bye” to Lowes after they learned that the store canned her on June 29th. Some suggested that Home Depot hire her.

A video of an interview with a tearful ex-Lowes worker, Donna Hansbrough, is here. She had asked a female for a receipt and that request led to the (alleged) thief and her two male cohorts to get going right out the door with a cartful of merchandise. Hansbrough went after them into the parking lot, grabbing the cart.

Hansbrough was fired a few days later by the corporate office for breaking company protocol because she followed customers out of the store.

Many on Twitter/X stood up for Hansbrough and complained about Lowes. Someone tweeted/x’ed, “Do the right thing unless you want to end up like BUD LIGHT.” Another said, “Lowes is dead to me.” Many others posted the same sentiments.

Because of the backlash against her firing, the company has reportedly rehired Hansbrough. And that, my friends, is how we make a difference when the leftists try to cancel good people.

On a side note, I wonder if Costco and Sam’s Club will stop asking for receipts so they don’t offend thieves? I wouldn’t mind that, not paying a membership fee.

To help us boycott leftist companies and their products when we hear about their woke offenses, is a new way to keep track of those hypocritical and sanctimonious leftist companies that we don’t want to patronize. It’s an app called Veebs (Values based shopping) that allows a shopper to scan a barcode and see how woke the different brands are.

Why should we give our hard earned dollars to un-American leftists who are trying to destroy the country and who promote lawlessness? Now we can fight back against wokeness easier.

According to Veebs, the score they come up with is based on public records, brand values, company statements and feedback/adjustments.

Both sides of the aisle can buy things according to their political preferences and value system. America-loving patriots can check out “America First” companies and leftist Antifa members and Black Lives Matter terrorists can check out the “Social Justice” brands depending upon their preferences.

Patriotic Americans who are sick of being censored and canceled have already been on track to create a parallel economy and offer options to fight the leftist corporations who try to control things with ESG scores and lectures to everyone.

The parallel economy includes everything from cell phones to digital payment systems. As talk-show host Dan Bongino says on the Parallel Economy website, “The ability to run your business free from the pressures of cancel culture is something I’m willing to fight for. Freedom isn’t going to protect itself, and Parallel Economy is committed to fighting for a free, fair, and open internet.”

Other patriots have gone the way of producing websites for people to shop on, including “Made in America” stores and lists of companies who aren’t woke.

There are enough companies around to buy stuff from who share our politics and values. We don’t need to be stuck with giving our money to the idiots, no matter how good their ice cream is.

As NSYNC famously and poetically says, “Bye, bye, bye.”
