Almost half of Americans (not enough) oppose companies promoting their own radical ideas. The Daily Beast reports a new poll by I&I/Tipp that shows 46% Americans oppose the trend toward corporate social activism, 17% support it and 29% don’t give a crap one way or another.

Another part of the polling shows that politically, 66% of Republicans opposed DEI ideology being pushed by corporations with only 30% of the Democrats against it.

The poll was done from May 31st through June 2nd and they surveyed 1,358 adults. It was taken after many of the woke agendas from corporations have been put on display including the insanity coming from Bud Light, Disney, Target and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

It’s pretty obvious that Americans are getting tired of listening to companies push their DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) and transgender ideas on their customers and the proof is in the bottom line of some of their profits. One such company, Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light, is no longer in the top spot in the United States after being boycotted over using a transgender spokesperson for a special beer.

Most likely, the wokeness trend won’t end anytime soon though because ESG scores are being tied into their brands. The companies seem to be more worried about that than they are their reputation or their sales.

In the olden days, it was just the celebrities at the Oscars and the Emmys that we had to listen to as they spouted their political BS. Now we have to put up with lectures from the folks selling ice cream, trucks, cereal and tampons.
