The expected anti-Christian and anti-Christmas crowd descended upon a Massachusetts library in Dedham, about 20 miles southwest of Boston, complaining that their Christmas trees made them “uncomfortable.”

Because of the haters who don’t have a life and can’t mind their own business, the library had decided to NOT put up their annual tree at both of their locations. However, they got enough complaints about their insanity that they reversed their decision, according to the Daily Mail.

The library’s decision to NOT display the Christmas trees happened in the spring while reviewing holiday decorations but a later vote in December by the Board Library of Trustees decided that the trees would still go up this year after all.

Library Supervisor Lisa Desmond had found out last week that the trees weren’t scheduled to be going up and posted on Facebook, “I have never posted a negative post on Facebook. That is, until now… I found out today that my beautiful library will not have its Christmas tree this year. Zero explanation.”

She continued, “When I asked, I was told ‘people’ were made uncomfortable last year looking at it. I’m sorry WHAT? In my 28 years at the Dedham Public Library, I have never heard a negative comment.”

She also posted, “Those who know me know I lead with positive intentions. I’m not feeling very positive today. Please bring Christmas back to my beautiful library. And always lead with love in your heart.”

Diane Loud, however, doesn’t feel that love, at least not towards Desmond. Loud, a Dedham Human Rights Commission member, resigned from her position after Desmond reported her to the police about her threats on Facebook where Loud had called Demond a “selfish f****** b****” for putting library staff in danger after her complaints.

Loud continued her rant on the social media platform by saying, “I hope the fact that you – who claim to believe in Christ and Christmas or whatever happy horses – you’re trying to hide behind – are the least gracious, most hateful, most disgusting trash in the world.” She ranted some more and then she said, “In closing, I would like to add a F*** YOU, YOU PIECES OF TRASH. I hate each and every one of you and I do wish great suffering on you. You are terrible, terrible people. And you did it all because you didn’t get your way. You are despicable.”

Lots of Christmas spirit there.

But that’s how leftists are. They create a problem. Then when their insanity is called out, they say that their lives are in danger and complain about being targets of bullying. Rinse and repeat. This is nothing new.

Actions have consequences but leftists never want to face those consequences. They want to operate in a world where they can be insane and not have anyone complain about it. And they are total hypocrites as well. Loud, an LGBTQ activist, had earlier been quoted when referring to an LGBT pride event as saying, “I think it’s really important for everybody to be celebrated and feel affirmed.”

Yeah, right. Only when Loud approves of that celebration. Leftists, as a rule, are the most INTOLERANT people around. It’s always their way or the highway.

After the decision was made to reinstate the tree display, Demond wrote on Monday, “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of support. I am lifted by you all.”
