Some of the LGBTQIA2S (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual and Two-Spirit ) community in Berlin has gone completely nutty. But that’s what happens when you are only concerned about one issue and you constantly have to push that issue in the media.
It’s like when PETA comes out with absolutely absurd marketing campaigns to be relevant because they run out of legitimate things to talk about.
There was a Pride event in Berlin recently where demonstrators demanded that Ukraine is armed with weapons so that Mariupol can be liberated and they can host a Pride Parade there.
I’m sure (insert sarcasm here) that Ukrainians cowering for their lives in Mariupol are losing sleep at night worrying about whether they can have a Pride parade.
I’m sure (insert sarcasm here) Ukrainians worried about their friends and family and if they are still alive are losing sleep at night worrying about whether they can have a Pride parade.
I’m sure (insert sarcasm here) Ukrainians hiding in their basements with no water or electricity and little food are losing sleep at night worrying about whether they can have a Pride parade so they can wave their rainbow flags.
Talk show host Michael Savage had a book on the Top 10 NY Times best-seller list in 2005 for three weeks called “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder” but this really takes the cake.
Of course, on the other hand, maybe if the word gets out that Mariupol needs a Pride parade, maybe that would inspire some of the rich elitists celebrities to kick in some money and the leaders around the world might actually do something so that Ukraine can be victorious over Russia.
At this point, what do the Ukrainians have to lose? Maybe a campaign for a Pride parade should be Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s next move.
And by the way, as a public service, I’ll catch you up on the current terms.
Intersex means you are born with biological traits that are outside the strict male/female gender binary. Asexual is the lack of sexual attraction to others. Two-spirit means you identify as having both a feminine and masculine spirit and it’s used by some indigenous folks to describe their gender, sexual or spiritual identity differently than others.
Clear as mud?
