The Ukraine/Russia war kind of reminds of all the years that the terrorists in the middle east were at war with America but we weren’t engaging.

Just like in the middle east, Putin is “in it to win it” but America and the others in NATO are mere spectators.

Putin has his designs drawn up and he has made up his mind about what he wants to do. Maybe the genius leaders around the world should ask themselves why Putin hasn’t already accomplished his goals – why he’s doing a slow walk of the invasion.

He’s testing the limits of tyranny under this current world order that is sitting back on their heels. He’s showing the way for China and Iran and others to go forth.

Putin knows he’s not going to get much push back unless he attacks a NATO country. And even then, it’s a crap shoot on how aggressive the NATO countries will be against him because of his nuclear threats.

So if Putin stays within certain boundaries, he’ll probably only get some financial push back. And what does he care about that if he’s got money stockpiled, he has cryptocurrency and plenty of food and power for his own needs.

Non-engagement by the rest of the world in the Ukraine invasion means that Putin is free to blow up civilians and residential neighborhoods… hospitals and schools anywhere he wants…and nothing much will being done except threats.

The western world sees a 40-mile long Russian convoy headed to decimate a city and yet no one has sent any missiles their way to wipe out that convoy even though the world knows exactly where it is and exactly where it’s going.

Putin’s army is kind of like ISIS – they will continue to march on and commit atrocities unless someone with some stones (like Trump did) comes along and says “enough.”

Putin has already decided what he’s going to do and if he will use nukes or not – and who he will use them against. It really has no bearing on what we do or don’t do. He can use the actions of others as an excuse to use nukes but that’s all it is, an excuse.

Putin has already gamed the whole thing out and the rest of us aren’t even IN the game yet.

World War 3 is already here but are pretending it’s no and we’ve fought for things much less important.

When you allow a tyrant to do what he wants because he has nukes and because he hasn’t threatened YOU directly, you have already lost the future. It’s a ticket for those with nukes to do whatever they want. Putin is looking to prove that to everyone on the planet.

Someday soon, the world might actually stand up and do the right thing. But I’m certainly not going to hold my breath. I’m pretty sure thousands of innocents will be killed before that happens. Hopefully not more than thousands.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing (no, not my quote).
