Who doesn’t want a million dollars?

Maybe George Soros. That’s pocket change. Not worth the effort.

Even though the odds of surviving COVID-19 without a vaccine are better than the odds of Ohio residents winning the state’s pandemic lottery, some people might take the bait.

Unfortunately though, it doesn’t look like the lottery is just for “new” vaccinated people. You would have had a much better chance of winning if that was the case.

Ohio Governor Mike Devine Tweeted that anyone (18 and older) who has received at least one vaccine dose may enter the million dollar lotteries that go on every Wednesday for five weeks.

So as of now, that’s about 4.2 million Ohio folks who would be eligible to win the money.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

But Ohioans might want to become rich another way. They can dig up some change in their car and buy a Mega Millions ticket today for Friday’s drawing and have the chance of winning $430 million without getting stuck with a needle.

The millions that the state is handing out for the pandemic lotteries are coming from the federal coronavirus funds. I think the other bribery deals that are going on sound a lot better – free beer, donuts and gift cards. At least you get something tangible.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has even got on board the vaccine bribery train and is offering residents a voucher for a free burger and fries from Shake Shack if they get a vaccine.

I would definitely prefer a free donut to the chance at a lottery windfall that I basically have no chance of winning.

That’s why I have always loved playing video games at arcades – but I hate casinos.

When I go to an arcade, I ALWAYS leave with Jolly Ranchers, Laffy Taffy, plastic jewelry and sometimes I even win a stuffed animal.

So hold out for real stuff – pizza or free pot – instead of a promise from the government that never comes.
