Democrats always love a never-Trumper or Republicans who don’t vote for Republican issues.

Over the years, they have said nice things (when needed) about John McCain, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins and others when they were helpful to their leftist causes.

The newest target of Democrat affection is Wyoming REP Liz Cheney, a Trump-hater who, without proof and without talking to any of Trump’s attorneys to get information, continues to tell everyone that there was no election fraud.

Cheney said recently, “We must speak the truth. Our election has not been stolen…” and called Trump a threat we have never seen before.

Yeah, a threat to the swamp.

The fact that many states ignored election laws and changed voting rules without going through the legislative process proves that she is wrong about the election being stolen.

But I digress…

New York Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer heaped much praise on Cheney on Tuesday as he was feigning to be upset that the Republicans were trying to strip her of her leadership power as GOP Conference chairwoman.

Everyone is pretty much glossing over what that position entails but it’s quite important and Cheney is the last person I want in charge of it.

According to GOP.GOV,  the House Republican Conference is responsible for electing the House Republican leadership, approving GOP Member committee assignments, managing leadership-driven floor debates, and executing a communications strategy that is executed within the party and is conveyed to constituents through the media.

And she was the Chair. Ick.

I don’t really want REP Elise Stefanik anywhere near that position either. I want the Chair to be an “America First” House member. Yes, I know – that’s too much to ask for. Why would we want someone to represent the people? Crazy idea.

Back to the Senator…Chuckie Schumer said about his gal pal Lizzie, “Down the hall from us, House Republicans are plotting the demotion of a Republican member for the crime of repeating the truth: that Joe Biden is the president of the United States and that Donald Trump is lying.”

He continued,”“Liz Cheney spoke truth to power. And for that, she’s being fired.”

Whenever democrats use the term “truth to power” you know they are full of crap.

Especially when it’s a 70-year-old white guy trying to sound woke and hip.

The poor septuagenarian must be heartbroken that his girlfriend no longer has the power that she once did.

All is not lost though.

I doubt it will stop her from mouthing off against Trump – and she’s a prime candidate to be hired by CNN.
