Royal experts are speaking out this week to say that they believe that Queen Elizabeth will step down from the throne after she turns 95 next year so that her 71 year-old son Prince Charles can become king.
“I still firmly believe when the Queen becomes 95, that she will step down,” said royal expert Robert Jobson, according to Page Six.
Jack Royston, a royal reporter for Newsweek, agreed with him.
“I think she won’t want to,” he explained. “But realistically she will get to a point where she has handed over everything to Charles and then how do you look your son in the eye and tell him he is not going to be King?”
The Queen is set to turn 95 in April of 2021, which means this transition could happen in the next few months. She has been on the throne since 1952, making her the longest serving British monarch in history.
Jobson also spoke out about two other royals, Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, and he didn’t have kind things to say about either of them. He blasted Harry’s “bare-faced hypocrisy” after the 36 year-old royal went full “woke” and admitted his own racial bias a couple weeks ago.
“I remember him making racial slurs about an Asian officer which was filmed by himself and distributed by his friends and he had to apologize for making racial comments,” Jobson recalled. “I find Harry telling everyone else that they are structurally racist hypocritical.”
As for Andrew, the royal expert said that he doubts that the third child of the Queen will ever return to official royal duties after the allegations surrounding him related to his friendship with the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“Can he come back from this? No. No way can he come back from this,” Jobson said. “He has to be cleared by the FBI. If he goes over there, he opens himself to a large can of worms. Whatever he was doing at the parties was unsavory.”
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the alleged former sex slave of Epstein, has claimed that she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions when she was an underage 17 year-old. Andrew has denied ever having sexual relations with her.
