The singer Phil Collins’ split from his ex-wife Orianne Cevey has just gotten even messier, as she has accused him in court papers of being impotent and not bathing for over a year, among other things.

Cevey filed court papers in Miami, Florida on Monday that were obtained by Page Six, and in them, she accused Collins of going back on his deal to give her half of their $40 million home. She also portrayed Collins, 69, as a “hermit” who spent months not bathing or brushing his teeth.

Cevey, 46, alleged that Collins began drinking heavily and popping pills back in 2017, adding that would often “fall down from the combination of prescription medicines and excessive alcohol.” She claimed that “on multiple occasions, he hit his head when he fell, and checked into hospitals under an alias,” and that he has “collapsed on stage when performing because he was so impaired he could not stand up.”

By 2019, Cevey alleged that Collins had “became increasingly depressed, withdrawn, abusive and following an operation on his back, increasingly addicted to antidepressants and painkillers.”

“He was incapable of having sex,” her court papers allege. “He stopped showering, brushing his teeth and dressing properly (in fact, he did not shower or brush his teeth from 2019 until August 2020 when he vacated)” their home.

Cevey went on to claim that Collins can no longer write or record music, and that he is “emotionally and verbally abusive towards Orianne and often ignored the needs of his children.”

Collins has fired back by filing a “motion to strike,” claiming that her filing “contains a litany of demonstrably false, immaterial, impertinent, scandalous and scurrilous allegations which have nothing to do with the legal claims in this case.”

“These allegations are included only to further defendants’ plan to deliberately make sensationalized and/or false allegations in an effort to extort money from … Phil Collins,” his lawyers added.

Sources close to Collins have spoken out to say that Cevey’s claims are false.

“The man has a serious neurological problem that requires him to take daily medication and this means he does fall sometimes on stage,” one friend of the singer said. “He’s currently in the U.K. in rehearsals with Genesis. If he was in that much of a state, he would not be able to function.”

Cevey and Collins were initially married from 1999 to 2008, and they had two sons together during that time. She married Charles Mejati after their divorce, but went on to reunite with Collins in 2015.

The couple split once again back in July after Cevey sent Collins a text saying that she was in love with another man. Just one month later, she secretly married her current husband, 31 year-old Thomas Bates.

Collins immediately tried to evict Cevey and Bates from his home in Miami, but they have since reached an agreement that they have until January to move. out of the house, which is currently for sale.
