Meghan Markle’s half sister Samantha has reemerged this week to blast her for the photos she took with her husband Prince Harry in honor of Remembrance Day, a holiday in the United Kingdom that is mean to commemorate the men and women who have given their lives for Britain.

Meghan and Harry had a photographer take pictures of them laying a wreath on a grave at the Los Angeles National Cemetery in observance of Remembrance Day. This did not sit well with Samantha, who called the entire situation “exploitative.”

“Well, don’t get me started on the concept of photo scandals, because allegedly that was the reason she disowned our father,” Samantha told the U.K.’s talkRadio. “So I was a bit shocked to see that on such an important topic — Remembrance and gratitude towards so many who have sacrificed their lives so we can live as we do today, as Harry said — that gratitude would be shown by an exploitative photo opportunity over fallen heroes.”

Samantha also talked about Meghan’s 1 year-old son Archie, saying that she is unsure if she will ever get to meet him.

“Archie has become somewhat of a phantom in the eyes of everybody, because he must be walking now and he wasn’t present at the memorial,” she said. “I think the world hopes for the best for him, but I can’t address it now because we haven’t seen him and I don’t know that we will sadly.”

Samantha isn’t the only person who had a problem with Meghan and Harry’s Remembrance Day photos. Royal expert Ingrid Seward explained that the photos “backfired” on the couple because many saw the images as a “publicity stunt.”

“The Sussex’s appeared to be on their own in the vast Los Angeles Cemetery,” Seward told The Sun. “Then we learn they had employed the services of celebrity fashion photographer to record their every scripted move.”

“Did they sit there amongst the graves with rapper Kanye West’s favorite snapper, Lee Morgan choosing which frames to use as he pulled them up on his iPad,” she added. “The Sussex’s wanted it to look like they cared, which I am sure they did. But it backfired and looked like what it was – a publicity stunt.”
