One of the men who was arrested for plotting to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer had also threatened to kill both President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama.

Barry Croft, who lives in Delaware, is one of the six men who was arrested for the plot against Whitmer. FBI special agent Kristopher Long said that Croft had also threatened various other current and former political leaders in private Facebook posts, according to Yahoo News.

Court documents show that back in May, Croft posted an image of Trump along with the caption, “True colors shining through, wanna hang this mf’er too!!!”

Lated that day, Croft added in a separate post, “I say we hang everything currently governing us, they’re all guilty!! And what a deterrent, Rope!!!”

Croft also once posted a photo of a noose and proceeded to call for the hanging of Obama, “both Clinton’s, Democrats, Liberals, Muslims” and other figures, including “Ihan Omar” and “A.O.C.,” referring to the freshman congresswomen.

Various profanity-laced posts from Croft called for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to be hanged “for war crimes against humanity.”

“Which Governor is going to end up dragged off, and hung for treason first?” he asked in a separate post.

In a conversation with an unidentified person, Croft talked about protests and “potential acts of violence” in South Carolina, including an apparent reference to Republican Gov. Henry McMaster.

“I’ll be in Columbia, SC on Friday,” Croft allegedly wrote on May 4. “They say they want their Governor in custody. … I want to grab them all, and hold trial.”

Court documents say that Croft was employed as a long-haul truck driver, and he was ordered to be transferred to Michigan this month.

Whitmer has been saying that Trump’s rhetoric played a large role in this kidnapping plot, but in the case of Croft at least, it seems that he despised the president just as much as he did the Michigan governor. Perhaps instead of the men behind this plot being crazy conservatives, as the media portrays them to be, they were just plain crazy with no political affiliations.
