Hollywood celebrity comment on Tuesday night’s presidential debate in Cleveland ran the gamut from support for the president, to disgust at the process, to the usual left wing diatribes. But since many average Americans were not happy with both candidates last night, it seems surprisingly, amazingly, and weirdly, more than a couple of Hollywood celebrities agree with a good portion of America. For once. First, the president’s supporters.

James Woods said, “I’ve done more in 47 months than you’ve done in 47 years, Joe,” adding “#DebateOver.”

“Trump is CRUSHING THIS DEBATE!” said singer Joy Villa. “Biden is getting destroyed what a show,” said actor Antonio Sabáto Jr. Scott Baio added: “Did @JoeBiden answer any questions?”

Then the amusing cynics took over. Jeremy Slater, who wrote  the terrible 2015 “Fantastic Four” movie, said the debate was “the worst thing I’ve ever seen, and I wrote FANTASTIC FOUR.”

Even liberal Mark Hamill quipped, “That debate was the worst thing I’ve ever seen & I was in ‘The Star Wars Holiday Special.”

“It was the worst thing I have ever experienced and I made out with a duck,” Lea Thompson wrote, who was in the unwatchable 1986 film “Howard the Duck.”

“That was the worst thing I’ve ever seen and I wrote the stolen horse semen Christmas episode of Hawaii Five-0,” said writer Sue Palmer.

“That was the worst thing I’ve ever seen, and I wrote Strawberry Shortcake: the animated series,” Judy Rothman Rofé wisecracked.

Actor Scott Foley called the event “a s–t show” and said he was “so glad I decided to put my kids to bed because I wouldn’t know how to begin to answer their questions with anything more than an apology.”

And of course, the Left had its twisted say. Talentless actor Mark Ruffalo said, “It would be great of come back to ANYTHING APPROACHING NORMAL! Donald has put this country on it’s head, his leadership is Chaos. We can watch this debate and see how little he knows about working with anyone. That is why he let Covid kill 200K people. No Plan! #Debates2020…What is clear, when you look at poise, decency, honesty, and respect one thing is clear. #BidenWon #Debates2020 #WithBidenWeCan.”

Unfunny comedian Jim Gaffigan said, “My children behave more civilly when I take their screens away than Trump tonight #Debates2020 #debates.”

“This debate comes at a solemn moment,” actress Patricia Arquette babbled. “Over 200,000 Americans have died of Covid with no end in sight. Trump is not the man to lead the country in this emergency.”

“This is what happens when you elect a sociopathic reality show host to run not only the country but to dictate how we communicate with each other about deadly serious issues,” said alleged comic Billy Eichner. Oh, that’s rich. Lectures on psychological problems coming from a celebrity.
