There has been a change of tide for the Democrats as some denounced the riots which have crippled cities across America. The reasoning behind their move is not to protect America’s towns, but to gain votes as new polls show nearly half of voters are worried about the riots. They also feared the violence would eventually make it into their businesses and homes.

Reported by Just The News Daily Polls with Scott Rasmussen, 48% of voters surveyed feared the destructive nature of the protests would invade their neighborhoods. Another 30% showed concern about the protests but didn’t fear for their own towns. The survey was conducted with 1,200 registered voters using a mixed-mode approach.

Rasmussen was surprised by the results saying, “Half the country being worried about violence in their own community is a startling fact, not something we would normally see in 21st century America.”

With protests expecting to intensify over the coming months, the numbers in the poll could easily climb. Rasmussen claimed the results are “why President Trump is in Kenosha and why Joe Biden made his comments about violence yesterday.”

It appears the Democrat’s attack on the President isn’t going to be enough to win them the White House. Queue the sudden change of rhetoric and now Biden has found himself struggling to stay afloat. The Democrats have pandered to the leftist, stoking the fires that have seen cops beaten, a Trump supporter killed, and the American Dream left in ash. It was only when they saw the election slipping did they remotely care about standing up for law and order, which happens to be the exact stance Trump has had since the first riots in May.

While President Trump visited Kenosha, Biden and the rest of the Democrats are trying to formulate a plan to fight the riots while supporting movements like BLM. The problem according to many, even CNN’s own Don Lemon, is Biden hasn’t taken a concrete stance on the riots or presented a viable solution. Lemon said riots are, “showing up in the polling, in the focus groups. It is the only thing right now that is sticking.”

As for the BLM movement, many voters and supporters are turning away from the group as videos surfaced showing their violent nature. Back in early June, the movement had a net approval of 24% but has since dropped to only 3% as Trump’s “Law and Order” platform continues to gain momentum ahead of November’s election.
