Bindi Irwin, the 22 year-old daughter of the late “Crocodile Hunter” himself Steve Irwin, is currently pregnant with her first child with her husband Chandler Powell. On Thursday, Irwin revealed to her fans what gender her baby is, and it’s a girl!

“Baby girl, you are our world. ❤️” Irwin captioned a photo of herself and Powell surrounded by pink flowers, holding up a sonogram as they posed next to a large tortoise. “Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year.”

Her younger brother Robert commented on the photo, “I can’t wait to meet my niece! ❤️.”

Powell shared the same photo on his Instagram page, writing, “Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world. I’m so excited to meet our daughter when she’s born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be❤️.”

This comes a month after Irwin announced her pregnancy.

“Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Irwin captioned a photo of herself and Powell smiling broadly while holding up a baby zookeeper shirt embroidered with “Australia Zoo” on it.

“Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you,” she continued in the caption. “Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives.”

“Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart,” Irwin added to her fans. “Love & light.”

Irwin and Powell got married back in March at the Australia Zoo in an impromptu ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“March 25th 2020 ❤️ We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend. There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now,” Irwin wrote on Instagram in announcing her big day. “There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now. We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding. This was a very difficult decision but important to keep everyone safe.”
