The mask violence seems to be equal on both sides. The pro-mask people picking fights and the anti-mask people going berserk when they’re confronted about not wearing a mask.

It seems to me that people just need to mind their own business. If you see somebody not wearing a mask, who cares? If your mask works as great as you think it does, some stranger not wearing a mask won’t impact you, so let it go.

Because trust me, if that was the case, this story I am about to tell you wouldn’t have had the horrid ending that it did.

A 72-year-old disabled vet was beaten unconscious when he confronted a man’s girlfriend about not wearing a mask in a hotel lobby.

From The Blaze

The man can be seen in the video approaching the veteran, who is seated in the hotel lobby, and speak to him before punching him in the face multiple times.

The video shows the veteran’s dog barking after the man as he walks away.

Police say that the veteran suffered a cornea abrasion and a broken jaw. He was also left unconscious by the attack.

The man allegedly beat the veteran because he had made a comment to his girlfriend about not wearing a face mask to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Detectives say the attacker left the hotel on foot and was picked up by his girlfriend.

Police identified the man as Cody P. Hansen, 35. They charged him with 2nd Degree Assault – Substantial bodily harm, and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.

The police said that Hansen has a criminal history of nine arrests in Alaska. He also had a warrant from Alaska for Probation Violation/Dangerous Drugs.

Another reason people should mind their own business is that you don’t know a person’s personal situation.

Take me for example. I had COVID – a really nasty case of it – I have always had asthma due to allergies, but since having COVID it’s a lot worse. I can’t breathe with a mask on. I shouldn’t be forced to explain my life story and medical background to some stupid stranger who crossed my path once.

The “mask” issue has given a lot of people this hero complex, where it’s their job to “save the world” and make sure everyone is wearing a mask.

Well, that’s great if you live in la-la land, but it’s not reality.

Best to just mind your business.
