Don Jr. saw this story about Philly officials asking law-abiding citizens to turn over their guns during a massive crime wave and asked this one question:

Are people really this dumb?

Yes, Don, Democrats certainly are…

According to the bizarre story, Philadelphia is seeing a massive increase in shootings (shocker, what Dem city isn’t?)…so, to combat the gun violence, the city council, Philadelphia Police, and community groups are calling on law-abiding residents to turn in their firearms that are just “lying around their homes” so they don’t fall into the “wrong hands.”

I mean, I’ve seen some stupid stuff, but this really does take the cake.

Let’s leave good citizens vulnerable, without a way to protect themselves while the bad guys run amuck, shooting everything in their path.

Yeah, that sounds like a dandy liberal plan.

Don Jr. goes on to say: “Law-abiding citizens should turn in their guns and have no means to defend themselves while outlaw criminals who have been breaking the law will keep weapons and continue their criminal ways with a leg up.”

He ended by adding: “This is a special kind of stupid.”

Yes, indeed it is.

America is watching as these hapless, failed liberal-run cities flop around like fish out of water.

They have no clue how to address the soaring crime that their awful, failed policies have helped create.

It’s an epic disaster and it just proves – in real-time – that Democrat policies do not work.

They may sound all warm and fuzzy on paper, but they collapse into dust when they’re actually put to the test.
