Democrats love to make the lowly peasants live under the crappy laws they pass, while they get to do whatever the heck they want.
You see this all the time with tyrannical Democrats – it’s the “Do as I say, not as I do” mentality that they’re famous for.
And nowhere is this more on display than with Democrat City Councilman Mike Bonin.
Mr. Bonin, a recovering drug abuser, and alcoholic is fighting hard to defund the police for the citizens of Los Angeles…But when it comes to him and his family’s safety, Mr. Bonin enjoys the police being at his beck and call.
So much so, that this progressive anti-cop politician has reportedly called the police to his house whopping 8 times since April.
The story was broke by a local Fox news station, who got the information directly from police records.
Bill Melugin is the reporter who tweeted out the info. Here’s what he said: “A public records request reveals that LA city councilman Mike Bonin, who voted to defund LAPD by $150 million, has called LAPD to his home 8 times since 4/4/20, including to provide extra patrols and protection from peaceful protesters at his house.”

Mr. Bonin denies that he called police to his residence, but according to the police, the records don’t lie. Bill Melugin says that high-level sources in the LAPD made it clear that the calls that came in were for Mr. Bonin’s house.
But even worse, records show that Mr. Bonin has called the cops to his house 40 times between 2015-2020.
What the heck is going on at this guys house for crying out loud?
