The pool boy who is at the center of the Jerry Falwell Jr. sex scandal came forward on Friday to give more details about what went down, claiming that the evangelical leader told him to “go for it” before he first had sex with his wife Becki Falwell.
Giancarlo Granda revealed that his years-long affair with Becki began in 2012 after he met her at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami, where he was working as a 20-year-old pool boy.
“Jerry was laying on the bed, he was drunk, he was giggling. And again, I’m kind of weirded out at this moment,” Granda told “Good Morning America.”
“I said, ‘Hey, if at any point you get jealous or you want me to back off just let me know and I’ll walk out of here.’ He said, ‘No, no no, just go to for it,'” Granda continued.
“I don’t want to go too much into the details, but he enjoyed watching,” he added.
Granda, who is now 29, said that the Falwells told him that they were at a swingers club in the night before, called Miami Velvet, but “it wasn’t their thing.”
“They said it was kind of gross because there were too many people and they wanted a more intimate session,” he remembered.

Granda shocked the nation earlier this week when he claimed to have had an affair with Becki for years, and that Falwell liked to watch their sexual escapades. Becki, who is a mother of three children, has admitted to the affair but denied that her husband was involved.
Falwell, who is the son of late televangelist Jerry Falwell Sr., has said his wife made a “mistake” and accused Granda of extortion. Granda, however, said that Falwell is just trying to save face in this scandal.
“Jerry’s lying,” Granda said. “That was his game plan from the beginning, to just throw her under the bus, which I think speaks a lot about who he is, his character. He was aware from day one of our relationship. He did in fact watch.”
Granda also said that he’d “lived through hell” when an attorney threatened to expose the nature of their relationship back in 2014.
