Over the weekend, we reported that the divorce battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was escalating in a big way. Now, it’s been revealed that Jolie is considering moving out of the country with the six children she shares with her fellow Hollywood star.

Jolie had previously lived in the London suburb of Richmond with Pitt while filming a movie in 2011, and she is reportedly considering moving back there now.

“She believes [Richmond is] a perfect environment for the kids, from a cultural standpoint and educationally,” a source told the Mirror. “One scenario is that she could have the kids a few months at a time in the UK, then they’d be allowed back to see Brad for longer periods.”

Pitt lives in Los Angeles, California, and Jolie has previously said that she has to stay there because of him.

“I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18. Right now, I’m having to base where their father chooses to live,” Jolie told Harper’s Bazaar magazine back in December.

Jolie and Pitt are parents to six children together: Maddox, 19; Pax, 16; Zahara, 15; Shiloh, 14; Knox, 12; and Vivienne, 12. They have been embroiled in a nasty divorce battle since 2016, and Jolie just filed court documents calling for the private judge in their case to be dismissed.

Jolie claimed that during her divorce proceedings, Judge John W. Ouderkirk has “failed to disclose the cases that demonstrated the current, ongoing, repeat-customer relationship between the judge and Respondent’s counsel.”

She went on to allege that Pitt’s lawyer “actively advocated for Judge Ouderkirk’s financial interests in moving — over the opposing party’s opposition — to have his appointment (and his ability to continue to receive fees) extended in a high profile case.”

After Pitt’s response, Jolie fired back at him through her lawyer.

“It is unfortunate that Mr. Pitt’s team has sought to intervene ahead of Judge Ouderkirk’s response. One can only conclude that this is an attempt to obstruct or influence Judge Ouderkirk’s answer. Any delay in these proceedings is due to their zealous attempt to create an unrecognized special exception for their client’s benefit,” Jolie’s lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean said.
