Yesterday, we reported that the television judge and producer Simon Cowell had broken his back over the weekend in an electric bike accident. Now, his fellow judges on “America’s Got Talent” have broken their silence about what happened.

Cowell’s fellow judges Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel returned to work on Sunday without him, and they were open about their feelings on the situation.

“I’m next to Simon’s trailer… I just wanted to say I miss you Simon and get well soon!” Klum said on her Instagram Story, according to Fox News. “It’s very sad.”

“Wishing you a speedy recovery @simoncowell,” the supermodel added alongside a photo of herself and her two fellow judges sitting outdoors in masks for a socially distant shoot.

Vergara, who is best known for starring on “Modern Family,” shared the same photo along with the caption, “We miss our boss!! Come back fast @simoncowell!!”

This comes after Cowell’s fall was confirmed by a spokesperson.

“Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family,” the spokesperson said. “He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands.”

Cowell took to Twitter on Sunday night to show that his sense of humor was very much intact.

“Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.”

“And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors,” Cowell added. “Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone Simon.”

Back in May, Cowell said he had been enjoying spending quarantine at home with his young son.

“We definitely have more family time together now. We watch movies in the evening, play together, read books, comics, everything,” he said at the time. “And the father of one also shared his exercise routine. “Cycle, walk, swim, push-ups. I haven’t cheated on my diet. I feel really healthy at the moment.”
