First off, why are you protesting on a freeway in the dark? Why are you protesting on a freeway at all – but in the dark, while wearing all black is a recipe for disaster, as these protesters discovered.
Here’s what happened:
Black Lives Matter protesters decided to use a Seattle freeway as the spot for their next protest. They intended to block the freeway with vans, so cars couldn’t gt by. That’s dangerous and illegal. What if someone didn’t see the van and plowed into it? What if police or EMS needed to get by?
Why on earth do these people feel like they own the city and the streets?
While the BLM protesters meandered on the freeway, standing in the lanes as if they didn’t have a care in the world, a white jaguar approached at a high rate of speed and plowed very hard into two protesters.
Two Seattle protesters are in the hospital after a driver in a white Jaguar plowed into a group of Black Lives Matter activists early Saturday morning during a protest-related freeway closure.
The incident which occurred just after 1:30 a.m. left a 24-year-old woman from Seattle with critical, life-threatening injuries and a 32-year-old woman from Bellingham with serious injuries, according to the Associated Press.
Police took into custody a 27-year-old Seattle man.
They noted that the man’s motives are under investigation.
However, they said that the man is now facing multiple felony charges because they suspect he entered the roadway by driving the wrong way on a ramp.

Police then pursued the car that hit the protesters.

Police say they hope that this tragedy will prompt protesters to reconsider protesting on the interstate because police cannot guarantee their safety.
Why don’t the WA police arrest them and stop this nonsense before the tragedy unfolds?
