I just discovered my new favorite football player.
His name is Stephon Tuitt and he plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he has some very strong feelings on America, immigrants, and the flag.
Mr. Tuitt says that he’s not kneeling for the flag, and he goes on to add “screw anybody who has a problem with that.”
Tuitt also goes on to say that his grandmother was a legal immigrant from the Caribbean who came to America the “right way,” and she’s now a nurse.
I’ll tell you, in this day and age it takes a lot of courage to stand up for America and the flag. Good for him.

On Monday, Steelers defensive end Stephon Tuitt explained that he will not kneel for our flag during the playing of the national anthem, noting of his grandmother’s success story after immigrating to the United States.
After doling out financial advice to other athletes, Tuitt said forcefully via social media, “Also I’m not kneeling for the flag and screw anybody who have a problem with that.”
“My grandmother was a immigrant from the Caribbean and age worked her a** off to bring 20 people over the right way,” he added. “She had no money and educated herself to be a nurse. She living good now.”

We definitely need more legal immigrants who love this country. Lately, we’ve seen a barrage of America-hating immigrants – similar to Ilhan Omar – who are here to complain, and try and change who we are as a nation.
However, as it stands now, I believe we need to halt all legal immigration. We need to focus on America and make sure that all of our citizens are taken care of, especially in light of the COVID shutdown.
Also, Mr. Tuitt makes a point that needs addressing.
Chain migration is a problem in this country and as he points out, his grandmother was able to bring over 20 of her relatives. And while they may be great people, a lot of the people bringing others over via chain migration are not so great.
