New reports are coming in that indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are having a difficult time adjusting to life as non-royals.
A source told the Sunday Mirror that Harry is “tormented by his fractured family ties” while Meghan is “struggling to cope” after they moved to Los Angeles, California.
“[Meghan] has gone very quiet. I think she is likely to be feeling extremely low and probably struggling,” the source said, adding that Harry felt “particularly down on William’s birthday on June 21.”
The insider went on to say that Meghan had become “more distant” and “introverted” over the last few weeks, leaving her family “worried.”
“Prince Harry must be tormented by his fractured family ties,” the source continued.
After shocking the world earlier this year by announcing that they would be stepping down as senior members of the British royal family, Harry and Meghan moved to Canada before relocating again to Los Angeles.
There, they have been living in the $18 million home of Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry while they look for a home of their own in the area.
This comes after royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that Meghan and Harry have been spending lots of time with their 1 year-old son Archie, who she says is almost walking.
“I think he is just about walking,” Nicholl said of Archie. “He’s a very happy little boy, he’s loving life in L.A. and they are still staying at Tyler Perry’s house. I’m told they haven’t found their forever home yet, they’re still looking.”
“They really do love that family time and they’ve had a lot of that recently,” she added.
“They both feel very grateful for that time they’ve had at home with Archie, watching him achieve all of those milestones.”
It was reported last week that Harry and Meghan have signed with the Harry Walker Agency, which represents the likes of the Clintons and the Obamas.
“They do need to make money,” Nicholl explained to the outlet.
“They’ve been in L.A. since March, they left the royal family at the end of March, and as yet, they haven’t actually earned anything.”
