Orlando Bloom, a Hollywood star who is best known for starring in film franchises like The Lord Of The Rings and Pirates Of The Caribbean, took to social media on Wednesday to beg fans for help in finding his beloved missing dog.
“MIGHTY IS MISSING,” Bloom posted on Instagram alongside photos of his beloved canine. “In Montecito California he is chipped and his collar has a number to call – if you take him to your local vet or shelter or police station he can be traced back to me for a reward.”
“Please only send REAL INFO my heart is already broken so please don’t add insult to injury,” the 43 year-old actor added.

Mighty and Nugget, who is identical to the other dog, can often be seen on the Instagrams of Bloom and his fiancee, singer Katy Perry. Earlier this year, Bloom shared a photo of himself and Perry with both dogs having some fun in the snow.
“Motley crew 2020,” he captioned the image.
Both dogs are shown in the photo covered in snow while Perry and Bloom have broad smiles on their faces.

Later in the day on Wednesday, Bloom and Perry, who is going to give birth to their daughter any day now, were seen searching the Montecito area for Mighty.

Bloom has always been open about his love for dogs. Last June, he revealed to fans that he had the skeleton of his previous dog Sidi displayed in his home after the black Saluki mix died in 2016 of liver disease.
“He was a great companion and I was very upset when he died. I had his skeleton mounted so that he stays with me,” Bloom told Dogs Monthly. “I know that sounds a little odd to some people, but it is quite tastefully done and I still get to say goodnight to him.”
As for Mighty, Bloom said, “He gets star treatment all over the world and enjoys being famous.”
Bloom even brought Mighty to Milan Fashion Week with him back in February, which just goes to show how inseparable they are.
Given the fact that Perry is literally going to give birth any day now, this could not have happened at a worse time for Bloom and his family. Please join us in saying a prayer that Mighty is found safe and sound.
