Hollywood star Mickey Rourke just reignited his feud with his fellow actor Robert De Niro decades after they starred in the 1987 movie Angel Heart. At the time of that film, Rourke accused De Niro of poor on-set behavior, and a bitter feud ensued between the two.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Rourke reignited this rivalry, posting a photo of DeNiro smoking a cigarette years ago.
“Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right i am talking to you, you big f–king crybaby. A friend of mine just recently told me that a few months back you’re quoted as saying to newspapers ‘Mickey Rourke’s a liar he talks all kind of s–t,” Rourke wrote. “Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies, you’re the 1st person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper. Let me tell you something, you punk a–, when i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, i gonna [sic.] embarrass you severely 100%.”
He then signed the note, “Mickey Rourke ‘as God is my witness.'”

De Niro has yet to respond to Rourke’s remarks. This comes one year after Rourke claimed that De Niro blocked him from joining the cast of the movie The Irishman.
“Marty Scorsese wanted to meet me for a movie with Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro,” Rourke said, according to Fox News. “The casting person told my manager that Robert De Niro said he refused to work with me in a movie.”
He added that De Niro snubbed him on the set of Angel Heart, alleging that the Oscar-winner said it was “better if [they] don’t talk.”
“Now, I don’t look up to him no more; I look through him,” Rourke said. “I came up from the s–t. He doesn’t know that life. I lived that f–king life, so every time I look him in the face, I look right through his a–hole.”
